I think this is one of the snare breaks from Madison Scout's 1995 Show. In the tune La Danza Pasilla, there is a break where the soprano and the snare share a solo. Then, there is a huge latin percussion breakdown from the percussion section

  • yeah the two shots were in 94 also i have no idea about if its like a history thing though

  • I bought the battery/pit score from Arther Lipner at Pasic in 98. He's the same dude who wrote Lime Juice. If you remember, you auditioned to that piece in 98. I remember that vividly - being cut in favor of some dude named Ryan Sirna lol

  • I got it from a website called Gridit, that's no longer up and running :(. I guess they had Professor Moore's permission to put the music up on the site, because it was the original.

  • did you march this year?

Also does anyone else notice the 2 shots in the beginning of a few of madison's snare breaks? Was that like their tag?

  • awesome

  • groovy.
