from the angle that the funnel is taking, it looks like it passed you on the right - I wonder, can a person check the direction the clouds are moving, and more or less estimate the direction the funnel is going? At least the funnels tend to take a straight track, & one can hopefully get out of the way as they come through - from satellite photos, oen can see that the track is usually straight as a line - though I hear that some can skip around, fade in one place & show up on a parallel track -
man, i know how scary it is to see a tornado, infact, the year before last, me and my dad watched through our front storm door as a f1 tornado ripped right through our front yard and ripped our shop to peices.
I had picked up my daughter from Central and was driving back toward 72. The tornado sirens started going off as we were passing the church at Dughill Rd. By the time we got to the railroad tracks we could see the tornado in front of us. The hail started and the wind was blowing, I pulled into the Dollar Store parking lot. My daughter and I ran inside and were directed to the middle of the store. I had often wondered what a tornado looked like. Now I know and don't care to see one again!

I was at home near the Maysville four way. Saw it over the old cedar mill plant. That was pretty sweet.
