Here are several exercise combinations utilizing kettlebells and chains. I am performing them in a non-stop fashion to add some conditioning and fat loss to the end of my primary workout.

If you do not have kettlebells, you can substitute dumbbells and for the chains, a weight vest could also be used.

Exercises Demo'd:
Kettlebell Clean / Squat / Press
Kettlebell Chain Push-ups
Kettlebell Chain Renegade Rows
Kettlebell Chain Push-up / Clean / Squat / Press
Chain Plate Push / Kettlebell Swings

  • Hey can I ask you a MOS (Man of Steel) question? I bought an Econo Prowler and I want to use it on my off days (Tue and Thur). My main goal right now is fat loss and conditioning. Can you tell a routine that I can do with the prowler that will help me meet these goals without hindering my MOS workout days? Thanks ~ Michael

  • @yyportne Sure brother, just hit it on your off days.  Go search on Elitefts . com for "prowler challenge" and you'll see a few prowler workouts all laid out for you.

  • This is the WORST workout video I have ever seen. Thumbs down. Just kidding, I would not do that to you. Another great video (thumbs up). Keep posting.

    I cant help but think about what those people on the treadmills and bikes were thinking when they saw you pushing a 45lb plate on the ground while wearing chains around your neck.

    I am about to go to the gym and do week 2 day 2 of MOS. Wish me luck lol.

  • Nice workout. I've done the sled push/pull supersetted w/ backpeddling with a partner holding resistance bands around you. Makes you wanna shit your pants.

  • That looks like a great workout! I was planning on joining the fire dept soon and this kind of training will help me in a big way to prepare. You look like you leaned out abit and put some good solid mass on good work to the smitty diesel crew!
