A poor, ill man. I think the bears grew tired of him, of his condescension, his mockery of them. They are strong, noble animals and he was hugging them and calling them shit like 'Mr. Chocolate' as though they were surrogate children.
Did he deserve to die? No, he was mentally ill. But he got bears killed, after his death they tracked down the bears responsible and killed them. Killed for following their instincts.
Disgusting.

This guy had some Balls,to go and interact with the grizzlly. I hate some people that are fast to judge, the only thing he did was to give as all the opportunity to get very close to this magnificent creatures. THANKS TIM FOR YOUR FILMS..

@grasshoppersam He was a great man indeed. But the lad needed help. Instead of working extremely hard to protect these animals in which he dearly loved. He needed to work with his own personal issues first. Unfortunately his own obsession caused him to loose his life at such a young age. I'f only he was more careful. But on the bright side, at least he died doing what absolutely loved. Thank god that tape hasn't been posted yet. And if it has...They should take it down, immediately.

Wow, I wonder what Letterman thought when he actually read that article. :/ The Grizzly Man was a great guy, he had wonderful intentions... but Grizzly Bears are animals no matter what, and sure it was a shame to loose him but it was bound to happen. I just wish people would respect the dead and not post the tape of him dying. -.-
