This video is the work of a team of four people, two young women and two young men, from the village of Boyddobari Mymensing province, Bangladesh. Produced as part of a research-for-development project, implemented by the WorldFish Center and supported by the Challenge Program on Water and Food, the video relates the experience of people in the community since the introduction of the Community-based Fish Culture project in 2006. The use of participatory video to document experiences in the community was inspired by Citizen Journalism Malaysia and Insightshare, organizations that advocate the use of video by citizens, for citizens. In Mymensing, the four person team was chosen by the people of Boyddobari, and trained by Mustafa Sayeed from the NGO Proshika. The video was entirely written and filmed by Akram, MS Jesmin, MS Taslima and Bellal of Boyddobari village
