  • i heard a serious amount of greensleeves going on.

  • Wow, I really hate to get in the middle of this but yes, I did play "What Child Is This?" and yes that is Greensleeves. However, I don't adhere 100% to the melody. I took some creative liberties. Sorry I started a brawl on Youtube. Merry Christmas!!

  • this man loves the lord to play like this , thats for sure

  • I do! Thanks for the kind words!

  • Awesome playing man!! Will tell everyone about you! What kind guitar is that?

  • Thank You!!

It's Triggs Arch Top made by Jim Triggs. I'm playing a Taylor T5 in some of my other videos, search for timthompsonguitar and you'll find them. Later

  • 2 people hurt their fingers trying to play Tim's arrangement and hit the "dislike" button by accident.

  • Beautiful and funky at the same time--LOVE it!

  • best guitar player i have ever seen in my life .also merry christmas may the lord be with you .great video and nice guitar

  • @zaktuta

With all-due respect, to play like this takes much more than "loving the lord". Certainly that can be an important inspiration, but give credit where it's due.

This is the result of years of tirelessly honing his skills. Something truly worthy respect and admiration. I've played for about 7 years, while I don't play in this style it's inspirational all the same.

Keep on playing for the Lord, or for the music, the booze or whatever your inspiration if the results end up like this!

  • I am definitely in the Christmas spirit now! Beautiful Tim :)

  • whoa. that was awesome!
