@timequakezombie In the ditch is some shuffle board wax that sticks to the discs and reduces its friction. It's pretty common in tournament play.

The humidity was making the boards slower and a little sticky.

As for the scoring, in tournament play you get 2 points winning a round, 1 for a tie and 0 for a loss.

How is the 2-0 score after the first round figured?  By my reckoning, it would be black by 35.
