@FletcherHabit it will be good if it is at least 82proof , but i can get higher proof by adding a little ethanol spirit ( the spirit should not be less than 95% ), Add water before distillation !

@JacobCain86 do you know if 80proof vodka has enough alcohol to draw out the thujone?

i have done alot of research and have a few recipes and a few web pages i order my ingrediants from but i love to hear from other absinthiers about their recipes and tricks of the trade i aswell will share. i dont really have any friends that are interested in this type of thing
