Playing with R-44 in ClearView. Looking at my issues with controlling speed, altitude and attitude while transition between turns and straight flight, and my jumpy hovering. My son was helping me towards the end ;) I show stick movements, in case any gurus can use this to help me get better! Needless to say I am not so brave (or even close) with the real models!

  • Thx for a nice comment :) I have tried pinch but crashed like crazy - maybe will try it one day again - I have heard many pple use pinch on throttle and thumb on cyclic. Just did not work for me - maybe because of muscle memory. Good luck moving to the 400! :) Fear must be conquered! :)

  • It's interesting to follow your helicopter learning videos. I'm in the same situation as you. I've hovered a HB FP quite well and now I'm flying a Blade mSR. I have a Blade 400 waiting in its box too :)

I'm training in the Clearview simulator but there you don't have the 'fear' factor to consider. I've noticed that you use your thumbs when flying. I'v found it much more stable if I use my thumb and index finger on the aileron/elev. and pinch the left throttle/rudder with my index/thumb
