I have a brunch with the neighborhood wenches next week and I think I will make these! They look perfectly delicious! I will make sure to place the cap on the roll and offer them to some of my least favorite ones! JK. I love these! They look fabulous. Super yum!

@Perroquet51 i cheat, i use two forks or spoons for flipping and hardly ever screw up. i use this method for anything that i'm scared to use a spatula for,

@bohogirl1 I've never made them that way but I've seen it done. Since my pasta pizza video, I'm a bit nervous about flipping anything.

@lazmalt If you're ever a guest, Laz, I'll be sure to warn you about the hidden egg in the roll :-)
What temp did you cook it at?

They both looked yummy, and I loved the presentation. Only thing I could possibly change is I would have saved the bread scraps to throw out back for the birds and/or raccoons. :-)

@nameofthepen Birds around here are so well fed that when I toss bread out for them, they totally ignore it and I end up having to clean up. Squirrels on the other hand, hang out at my door, waiting for peanuts.
