Childhood cancer is a topic that's hard to face. No parent wants to think about it, but the reality is that each year, nearly 13,000 children are diagnosed with the disease.
When kids get sick, everyone in the family is affected. But in the Madison area, families quickly find out they're not alone. Capital Candlelighters is on hand shortly after diagnosis, with valuable information, friendship and financial support.
