If imitation is the purest form of flattery Take 6 should be surely gratified.

Love the guy singing bass. His deep voice is very comforting:)

Just fyi, he said:
"Hello, ummm, 'He Never Sleeps' is the next number we're going to do by Take 6. It's something in the past we kinda... ummm... 5 of us went to Iowa for a workshop a long time ago. We got to speak to Phil Matson and he kinda took us through some stuff. We also saw Take 6 in concert.. couple.. weeks ago?..."

Some good stuff but the bass has to be confident if the other parts are going to fall into place. The top tenor sounds strained... granted it is very high, but maybe too high for him.
The solo was pretty good; I suggest a constant breath support and lower larynx. That will help eliminate H's in words like Halways and wuHurry. I'm not just some jerk who thinks he knows everything; I have a voice performance degree. Good work; very few people could even attempt such a challenging song.

Thank you so much for your comments. I do appreciate them. The adjudicators actually said the same thing about my solo. Too many H's, I didn't even realize it until after they told me, but yeah, definitely something I need to avoid. I'll let the other guys know of your advice as well. Thanks again. Respect.
