Lesson #8 Creating a 3D DWF in Autodesk QTO 2010, from the AU 2009 presentation "Quantity Takeoffs Made Easy" by Ideate's David Haynes, AIA, LEED AP/Director of AEC Services and Glynnis Patterson, N.C.A.R.B./Director of Services.
I am doing exactly what you mention in this video and then importing the 3D DWF file to QTO. If I click on the 3d file in the QTO Documents Pane, it doesn't show in the canvas. I have no idea why is that happening. 2d files seem to work fine. Any helpful tips?
