Hi, I am looking to validate UK Postal Code using IF formula in MS Excel, can you be any help!!! The postal code is should be in the following format:
AN NAA ANN NAA AAN NAA ANA NAA AANA NAA AANN NAA
When A is alphabet and N is number. If the condition is incorrect then highlight that particular cell that contains the incorrect postcode. Many thanks in advance.
Can you have more than one condition in an "IF" formula? For instance =if(condition 1 AND condition 2,Yes,No). Also can you combine an "IF" and a "COUNTIF" in the same formula? So, =if( A1:A50=Flowers AND B1:B50=Roses,countif(C1:C50,"R ed")).
No, in this case, you just need to use COUNTIFS if you have more than 1 conditon to count your item. Excell have both Countif (for one condition to count) & and Countifs ( used to count item that has more than 1 criteria)
Great info however even if I click on the HQ button it doesn't change it at all.. and it's still not only small but very blury. is there something the teacher can do when making the video to make it larger and clearer. There is another guy doing excel tutoring and his is clear and at times he zooms in a bit to make it easier to see. Thanks for your help
