While QRS issued and reissued many copies of this roll over time, here is an original 20's version of this popular player roll. With music by Eubie Blake (the original pianist during the show) , this performance by James P. Johnson here on my Stroud Duo Art Pianola is an essential 1920's piece and a great dance step of the period... From 1921's "Shuffle Along" , which also brought us such hot tunes of the period as "Gypsy Blues" and "I'm Just Wild about Harry" here is this classic Johnson performance.
