Losing by 2, in overtime, to the #2 TEAM IN THE NATION (NOW #1) is definitely "getting your ass handed to you."

We were underdogs & it would've been an UPSET to win, so no one can dog us for losing that game (unless we'd gotten blown out).

Kansas fans were admitting they gained a lot of respect for K-State after that game, as were all the experts.

Point proven - Martin is a good coach. He won't be there 20 years, he could have violations down the line, but from what we have as evidence NOW he's definitely a good coach.

Preseason picks are made by experts who are payed to analyze the team, their opponents, AND THEIR COACHS - so yes I put stock in it.

He's still a Huggins assistant and like Ron Prince, he should still be an assistant, or better yet highschool coach, heard he did well in FL.

Yeah, Huggins was DEFINITELY shady back in his Cincy days. No one is disputing that.

And considering the fact that nearly everyone cheats in college sports I wouldn't be surprised if Martin someday had a rules violation uncovered with the Cats.

But he's clearly a good coach - not a Hall of Famer obviously but clearly a GOOD coach.

Hell, John Calipari is extremely shady & been caught doing much more, yet no one will deny that he's a good coach & great recruiter.

Once again, you don't know your basic facts - after the CM turnover they were down TWO. The game wasn't over, he was pumping him up so he wasn't hanging his head over the last critical seconds.

06-07, TTech was taken over us & most of the experts (not you, in other words) disagreed. Martin wasn't even the head coach here so moot point.

Same goes for the Washburn game (which we won, actually).
