There's one thing that bothers me about the guy who's answering the questions. He says the gameplay is more simple, like Mega Man 1, and even specifically says that there is no power slide feature. Yet, at about 0:50 in the video, not only is there a bolt to collect, which was a staple in later Mega Man games, but you would have to use a power slide to get it.
Doesn't matter to me, though. I'm excited as hell for this. Just thought that was a little odd.

There isn't the power slide, but there could be a special weapon that could act as a boomerang able to grab any unreachable items. Kind of like MegaMan X, with Boomer Kwuanger's weapon.

Oh yeah, I guess that's true. But still, I think even having the bolts in the game is kind of odd if they're going back to the basics. It even looked like the 16-bit sprite from Mega Man 7, but it's hard to tell, and it's probably a placeholder if anything.
