@The170460 Hmmm, maybe I have missed that one. Somtimes I forget all alt takes coming to some artists. But you send it if you have it. If you want to, send me an pm and I give you my personal email address. Take care and don't let the strings rattle.

@gangerollo there's also another one without electric guitar overdub and drums overdubs.
-
@The170460 I know about that take/version w/sax. I have it saved on either of my gangerollo or my bellgardens53 channel. Sad to say, the alt is not as good, far from it, vs this complete master.

@gangerollo Eddie had recorded an alternate of this one included one sax part. But the acetate was found in the eddie cochran estate 5 or 6 years ago not before. I think you can find it on you tube or send me a mail and i enclosed the mp3 of the alternate.

@The170460 I hate being wrong, or in this case it was/is liner notes by Lenny Kaye I referred to, but forwarded, so I'm guilty here. As I live in a world of realities, I have to admit, listening to this gem....that you are absolutely right. Hmmm, I guess I have been in an illusion for years about a sax here. Wonder how it comes? I never make any mistakes! LOL... But I have made much worse mistakes, though one have to "kill ones darlings". That's a very important lesson learnt. Thanks!

@gangerollo no sax on this one

"...great sax and guitar interchange stuck beautifully in the middle. Short and sweet and hard to beat."

the world desperatly needs entertainment like this, asking a lot but always hoping,R>I>P Eddie !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This was a stunner visually. When Eddie
sang, "See my hands how they shiver, see my
knees how they quiver", he acted it out as if
he were a nervous wreck. It was great to watch!
Live concert, Williston, ND, Oct. 1959, National Guard Armory.
