Nikko is a two hour train ride out of Asakusa Station in Tokyo. It's old, surrounded by mountains, and awesome. Make it part of your trip to Japan. On my ipod this day: "Wide Eyes" by Local Natives

  • After grad school in '94, I lived there as a teacher for three years in Osaka, Sakai. I looked at things in a certain way and found it hard to take pictures that capture the feeling. I feel like you understood my perspective since I noticed what you chose to show. I look at the small things..the quiet...still moments that pass by everyone but I delight in.

I was not your typical gaikokujin.

  • thanks for the visual to the song. good stuff.
