This is the storyboard for our group project, which is a short 3D animated story about an established archaeologist and his young apprentice on a journey to find undiscovered remnants of the Mayan civilization.

While going through a jungle on a clear morning, they come across a Mayan temple. After investigating the surroundings and the exterior of the temple, the apprentice finds a hidden entrance to the temple. They walk through the dark halls of the temple with the apprentice holding a flashlight when they reach what seems like a dead end. The apprentice, however, gets surprised by a strange glint coming through a small crack on the wall, which prompts the archaeologist to chisel on the crack to see what's on the other side. The entire wall crumbles down after a few hits, and they discover a brick-floored room with a huge gem stone. Immediately, the archaeologist rushes towards the stone - with the more gingerly apprentice chasing after to stop him - and steps on the brick switch that opens the floor.

After a long fall, they find themselves in an enclosed space with no way out. As the archaeologist starts to panic and whine, the apprentice notices a gust of wind and traces the wind to a hidden sliding door. Without missing a beat, the archaeologist grabs the flashlight from the apprentice and makes a run for it. He finds the way out and cheers in joy as he continues to run until he accidentally steps in a snare ends up dangling upside down from a tree branch. The apprentice, who was trailing behind, stares at the archaeologist for a moment, then walks back into the jungle by himself, ignoring the archaeologist's pleas for help.
