God answers all my prayers, but the ones relating to money.

In celebration of her new book, Get Off Your Knees & Pray, Sheila Walsh answered questions from Beliefnet.com website visitors on the topic of prayer. Here Sheila answers a question from Beliefnet.com website visitor, Sandy.S, who is going through some difficult times and wants to know why God has answered many over prayers, but not necessarily the ones pertaining to money and finances.

You get what you believe. Whether you want to prove it biblically or scientifically, BELIEF is the key. Belief and faith are one in the same. God does exist but you have a choice to believe or not. Either way you are right. About finances, I totally disagree because I have evidence that God blessed my family with $11,000.00 in one night! He also say in his word that Jesus became poor so that we might become rich. Others try to say that this is rich in the Spirit, but this is financial wealth.

whats there not to understand,he doesnt do anything because he doesnt exist.we as human beings put food on the table and try to manage our money as best we can.The real question is with all their money and fine art,why doesnt the vatican do more.They could sell all that art and give the money away to those in need,but then they wouldnt have their status symbols.And this pope last year said being rich is a sin.religion is nothing but a get rich quick sceme my the religious conmen

The bible states:

Jesus said: "Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it."

So the real question is: why doesn't god keep his promise?

@dwreck80 I've checked the video, thank you very much for that. They are based on a very close minded view of history and deliberate misinterpretation of information. How tipical. Well I did try my best. A last word. I'm not an idiot and do reckon the many grave mistakes of the Church, the trial of the Knights Templar and Joan of Arc as just the tip of the iceberg. Still, nowadays it's cool to hate the church, so well, I'll just let you go on and won't bother you. Have a good life.

@MiloDeEscorpio You can keep trying stall tactics and grasping at straws or simply trying to divert the attention away, but ur failing miserably. Obviously u are so lost, closeminded and stuck in your own world that the church has created for u, u wouldnt be able to see any real fact or truth regardless of whats presented. So continue to live in ur bubble and enjoy it as u obviously do, I dont have anymore time to waste attempting to teach a blind person how to differentiate color.

Havent I already explained ur "sources" are worthless as it comes from the vatican itself. Anyone can claim anything and try to distort facts, the they cant hide truth. Try for once, leaving the vatican site and trying a GOOGLE or BING SEARCH and look for credible evidence. Also if ur too lazy or scared to do that, youtube penn&teller bullshit-the vatican, and watch that episode.It has all the evidence and shows u exactly where to go to find truth and its been tried and tested the world over.
