Glen Alton Caretaker's House:

Short film demonstrating the transformation of space with a caretaker's house for a US Forest Service recreation area in Giles County, VA.

Moveable partiations change room layouts based upon need. Rooms can open to the outside in good weather orr close for privacy.

When not in use beds storage with the walls. They also slip along rails through the exterior wall to provide a cantilevered outdoor sleeping platform.

Storage space, cabinetry, and electrons are carved into recessions within a large retaining wall on the north elevation.
