@NiCodaNiKKA also don't forget Barry was on the no. 1 offense in the league for several years. with 3 great receivers in moore, perriman and morton. the lions ran a 3 wr set base forcing teams to run nickle defense pulling out the 7 man box creating a 6 man box. while the boys ran I formation power football where teams could place 8 in the box and focus on Emmitt. Barry also leads the league in runs for loss because of all his dancing, while if Emmitt had no hole, he made one.

@jerriatricks alright bro the truth is barry is the only reason why all of that happend they had no blockers no QB, barly a good defence Fact is if barry was on a team as good as the cowboys he would have been the best for the rest of nfl life

Barry was the featured running back on Detroit Lions' teams that made the playoffs five times (1991, 1993, 1994, 1995, and 1997). He was a member of the 1991 and 1993 squads that won the NFC Central division title. The 1991 team won 12 regular season games (a franchise record).
Yep....sounds like the worst team in the league! Don't hate on Emmitt just because he won superbowls.

barry wasnt complete at all. couldnt block,couldnt catch, couldnt last a whole game without having to sit out, and couldnt get the tough 4th and ones or 4th and goals.

i watched many of his games in arizona. he got no blocking and got most of his yards after the first couple of hits.

so emmitt should have not bothered going to the nfl for what reason? last time i checked he owns most meaningful rushing and scoring records for runningbacks, an nfl mvp award, 4 rushing titles, 3 super bowl rings, 6 division championships, and a super bowl mvp award. what does barry have other than a bunch of fans crying about what could have been?
