Scholl Center Award

The Scholl Center receives the "Community Champion" award at the Tulsa Business Journal's Economic Development Impact Awards, December 14th, 2010.

Almost 200 attended the inaugural event at the Crowne Plaza hotel downtown, which featured a formal dinner, local artwork in the foyer, a jazz band and Art Rasher and Louis Coleman, two of the three hosts of radio show BusinessWorld, as emcees.

The five winners, in their respective categories, were Saltus Technologies LLC, Emerging Business of the Year; Williams, Williams & McKissick LLC, Best Kept Secret; Selser Schaefer Architects, Best Workplace for Young Professionals; The Scholl Center for Communication Disorders PLLC, Community Champion; and BOK Financial Corp., Lifetime Achievement in Business.

"The winners, as well as the other finalists, have given so much to Tulsa," said Chuck Branch, TBJ publisher. "It was our honor to recognize them. We look forward to continuing our EDI Awards program next year."
