@deniahmad9 Yes the KNIL had great uniforms, especially the older one(1800 style). Wish i could walk there in the 1920's-30's, see how it really was. I think holland and indonesia tried to forget the period. People (citizens in japanese camps and soldiers) who lived there, were traumatized, misunderstood and rejected when they came back , and in Indonesia self, many buildings of Dutch origin have been demobilized or let rotten.

Thanks Rivki for your sharing us this movie, its one of thing I long for, a very well description of Indonesian struggle life periods ( 1945-1949). Good scene, good music, nice costume, weapons, almost perfect. Indonesia and Dutch people have shared the same condition after WW II.
