The White House, an Art-Deco style roadhouse, built by architect William Innes Thomson in 1936 in Craigmillar, Edinburgh, finally re-opened after years of neglect on the 18th March 2011 by Scottish Government Justice Secretary Kenny MacAskill.
It is to be intially used as a community resource housing exhibitions, but other uses are currently being considered.
