An award-winning short documentary film about the extraordinary sacrifice and inspiring resilience of brave American men and women in uniform who have served in Iraq and Afghanistan since 9/11, been wounded, and are role models of the human capacity to overcome adversity.

It was an absolute honor to meet our Warriors and help share their stories. We enjoy the freedom of working to make a living as storytellers thanks to the men and women who risk their lives protecting our nation...

  • Wow..really powerful stuff. Amazing film guys, great work. Anybody heard of Hell and Back Again by chance? It's a documentary I saw recently that touches on all the same issues. It follows a platoon of Marines into Afghanistan then back home with one of them when he gets injured. If you enjoyed this film I think you'll really appreciate it. It's actually up for the best doc Oscar too. hellandbackagain(dot)com

  • Well done. Very well done. Thank you for continuing to give after already having given so much. Your lives are being lived extrememly well. Semper fi

  • This documentary should make every American so darn proud. Our wounded warriors demonstrate resilience every hour of every day and we can/should learn from them.

I don't think there's a better storyteller than Jay Lavender to help viewers see and feel the challenges and triumphs of our wounded warriors.

God bless our nation and, especially, our men and women in uniform!

  • Great insights and comments from some great heroes... What determination, bravery, and honor. God bless each of them and the thousands of other WWs not shown in this film...
