As one of the creators of this water feature, it was an incredible experience to see my baby up and running. This is the first real show to be programmed for the fountain. It begins to demonstrate some of the capabilities of the devices. The choreography developed by the grand opening a week later was better refined and more elaborate. The lights/colors are even more intense in person.

  • Does this fountain do any choreographed shows with music, or is it planned to do so, or is it as-shown, an animated show only?

  • This fountain just runs continuously rather than having independent shows that run every hour. As such, it is not intended for the choreography to be coordinated with any music. I suppose it could be done for special events if Aria wanted it though.

  • Beautiful fountain, but the lighting design is pretty weak. Very flashy, with no regard or concern for spill of light on the adjacent buildings, and rolling through multiple colors to get to a desired color. Seems a shame to have such a great fountain and fall short on the lighting aspect of it.

  • Well, keep in mind that this was only the 1st show the choreographers programed (at about 3am & in 30 degree weather). It was mostly a test to see what it would look like. All those issues can be addressed in the programming (i.e. pointing the lights away from buildings, and closing the shutters on lights while scrolling through colors)

  • Beautiful! Is it fun working on a WET Design display? Also...is there truth to the rumor that this show, somehow, displays similar bright colors on a sunny day?

  • Yes, the WET features (and the devices in them) are quite fun to work on. =)

As for the lights, the colors are definitely visible during the day as well. However, it's difficult to compete with how vivid and intense they look at night.

  • Great job! Looks really cool on here. Cant wait to see it in person, as well as the rest of CityCenter

  • I want one of these in my yard....

  • that's great that the shooters are moving!! WET never fails to impress!

  • Anyone else think of taking a piss?

  • It's nice but not a destination like the Bellagio fountains, which are simply spectacular. This thing is cute at best.

  • this is one of the features that wet had a semi successful launch with.. however Glacia ice feature and the Halo tube water feature inside The Crystal retail, are a disgrace to the MGM Mirage..

  • Cute but I wouldn't make a special trip over there to see it. It's no Bellagio fountain. Music should be added to it. It needs more Pop but it's a good start. thanks for sharing.

  • cool
