The Ghost Dance represented a movement that embodied the hope of thousands of Native Americans who longed to have their land returned and be rid of white men. As a result, their movement was violently put down with many innocent Native Americans slaughtered at Wounded Knee.

I have many tears for all...My great grandparents left Germany because they did not agree with Hitler or his followers...I am of mixed race Cherokee, Irish, German on moms side and Iroquois, Scottish, Italian, French on Dads side. What the problem of today is MOST forget their ancestors or never learned of them...That is enough to bring sorrow to anyone persons heart
