isnt you overlode you plaine with heavy NXT even with gas motor power weight always bad for air

nice if you could get it to incorporate proper aileron banked turns :) try beefing up the fuel tank and flying it over the ocean :p

could you not do exactly the same thing with a ordinary copilot system?

The copilot system just stabilizes (keeps the wings level, etc). The autopilot navigates(steers to waypoints, etc). We use both on this UAV. Takeoff and landing are manual.
