Are you using Maschine to control the Blofeld? Maschine doesn't have a MIDI out does it? I guess you have to do it all using USB connect? Correct me if I'm wrong. I can't decide which piece of gear to get first. I've wanted the Blofeld for a while now.

Hi,

Basically everything is recorded and edited on a DAW (Cubase 5). But the Maschine does have a midi out and can control the blofeld to a certain extent.

I suggest that you watch some youtube vids by "KnockSquared". He has some explainations on connecting other gear to the Maschine as well.

Dear sir, thanks for the kind remarks,

Maschine, Maschine,Maschine,Maschine,Mas­chine (as the song goes...).

I find it a very nice instrument but it needs some time to get used to (longer than the necessary) and it does not well sitted next to the DAW. I mean it has sequencer of it's on, so you find yourself running two sequencers.

In any case, it is a fun tool and most creative. Recomended wierd maschine.
