i have a perception freedom angler and only use it on lakes. was out for the 1st time in sea yesterday with no fishing gear to see what its like coming in on a wave. not fun lol. no matter how far i lean back i end up nose diving and a big splash. but yak can paddle out no problem. would not like to have all my gear on me

lean into the wave. Leaning back will not always work. Present the bottom of the boat to the bottom of the wave.

It was a Revo. That was a kayaking buddy on one of his first landings. He didnt wait for the wave to go under him before approaching and tries to ride it in. Pretty funny to watch... Do you own a Revo ?
