Natalie's POV:
I sighed as I began to pack my bags. Today is the day, I thought. Sooner than later, I was going to leave and go to college. "Natalie, it's almost time!", my mother yelled. I rolled my eyes, "I know that!" I hated to be bitter but my mother was happy I was leaving. No, not that she wanted me to go to college but she can have the house all to herself. She wasn't like this, you see. But time had changed her.

I grabbed all my bags and walked down. "Bye mom", I said bitterly. "Hon, what's wrong?",she asked in her most fakest voice. "It's nothing. Bye." I opened the door and began to walk. I waited until my best friend, Jessica parked infront of me. "Hey, Nat." she said, all smiley. I smiled, her smiles can always light me up. "Hey, Jess!" I say, giggling as I put my luggages in her car. "WHOO!" she screamed as she started the car, as fast as ever.

"It's alright, you lived", she says, giggling. I opened my eyes and sighed in relief. "I can't even believe you got your drivers license!" I yelled, getting out. "Well, you better believe it." she says, grabbing her luggages. I grabbed mine as well as we walked in the huge school. "Woah" was all we could say in amazement. This was so cool! "Lets go find our dorms" I say, walking around to find the office.

"Thanks" I muttered to the lady that handed me the keys. "What room are you in?" Jessica asked. "321, you?", I ask. Her smile grew, "same!" she said. I smiled. It was going great.. so far. We walked to our dorm and opened the lights. I twirled and smiled. This room was at least 3x my room! I jumped on a bed, exhuasted.
