This is track #15 and the final song on 'Automatic'. I know I said that 'Reverie (Part Two)' was the last song on the album, I couldn't resist the temptation to include another song, and seeing as the first track is called 'A Beginning' I thought 'An Ending' would round everything off nicely.

There is a bit of experimentation on this track, with a couple of reverse guitar sections thrown in. This song points the way for my next album, which I would like to use to experiment with stuff like this a lot more.

I am in standard tuning, with a capo on the 6th fret (my favourite place, it seems to suit my limited vocal range up there). I like to play emphasizing the lower strings further up the fretboard, usually with a capo, because I prefer the sound to that of the higher strings, which can sound a bit too shrill sometimes for my style of music. I think the lower strings often tend to have a more rounded and bassier feel, something which I prefer for this type of song.

I hope you like it . :)
