ANd there were lawsuits when some of the contestant didn't receive the prizes they won, or got less than what they were promised in the call. USA ran ads around late 1995 to call a toll free number for someone to call if they played the LMAD Phone game. Monty did two half-hour infomercials for this game around 1992.

I remember seeing the infomercials for this hotline.
Funny.. because for the majority of that station's audience -- they couldn't call as it was prohibited in New York.

The ad later changes to cash ammounts. First it was $200, then it was $1,000. Then you could get $1,000 by tomorrow, then $2,000.
But suddenly, people called the number and they didn't get the money they're suppose to won, and they placed an 800 number in where they sue the people who made the Let's Make A Deal contest line.

I think I remember this running around the same time Hilton was hosting the newer version.
