If your joining the Army or any branch in the military trying to get them to issue you a desert eagle, you are mistaken. I'm going to the Marine Corps I leave for boot camp July 11th 2012. The sidearm of the US Military is the Beretta M9 9mm pistol. It's not a Deagle .50 AE

speed vs power. by the time you shoot 1 bullet of this big boy, a 9mm shoots 3 or 4 rounds adding the mags which can have twice the capacity. BUT one shot of this beast is highly enouph to send you 6f undergroung with a big extra buthole. XD even with a Bproof vest its still enouph power powerful to bring you down with some broken ribs.

@rockneverdie1994 Cant you buy your own gear? Or do you reckon Desert Eagle is prohibited because of the low mag size and questionable accuracy with that big .44/ .50 round?

@Agendaman2, I've heard that also, but I think people get the .50 Beowulf and the .50AE confused. Supposedly, the Beowulf round was designed for vehicle check points. Its also fired from the AR15 platform. I think the rumors of the Israelis use of the DE are just rumors.

Its funny, on just about every DE.50 video, there's some debate about "what's its purpose?" like there's not some shit just for fun. Hell, look at video games. lamest thing ever created, and serves exactly no purpose, but people still play em for fun. So think of the DE50 as a real-world video game for people who like to do things outside.
