The Harley Davidson dirt bike was Called a MX 250 and was made in 1977 1978. There is alot of cool pictures and history info on the web about these bikes, Just do a search under " Harley Davidson MX 250 "

@tobyeo They actually had a factory race team and are a big part of dirt bike history. I am a long time racer and motocross fan, I could help you find out some info if you need it, Great videos keep them coming !

At 5:20, the Hollister AMA MX race, Rick Johnson stuck in the gate and they red flagged it! Gebors was angry. He wasn't the only one. Hollister was an old quarry and was hard pack and had a lot of granite in it. In 1997 the park brought in some 2ft of sand from dredging their ponds.. That made a difference. But the race promoter, AMP, was caught unawares. They worked hard. But the whoops from braking were so deep you could only see the 60's racers heads. Grooves in turns could catch your pegs.

Ya, I was thinking if I ever got a street bike I'd like to get a 1930s Matchless, I liked the way that 1938 sounded.
