  • I have the flybarred 600 LE with 50 Hyper engine and the Curtis Youngblood MP5 pipe (not the stick banger version). I'm using an Enya #3 plug and Rotor Rage 30/20. Recently I installed a new liner, ring, and rear bearing, but my engine is bogging when I use alot of collective pitch. I think my setting currently +12 0 -12. I'm using the align governer with the travel adjust on my DX7 set to 90% (around a 2,100 rpm headspeed). What should I do to get more performance out of the OS50 Hyper? I

Well there is a difference between you think it has +12/-12 pitch and actually having it. Also It's really impossible to know what could be causing it if it is the motor. I cannot hear the motor to tune it. Also you could be running it way to rich.

  • Good job. That thing has tons of power!

    Nice field too!

  • @oFallenDemono Well, yours definately sounds like it is running nicely in the video. I flew again today and was a little more pleased with the engine's power. What is your procedure for getting the HSN set just right? Do you check temp off the engine backplate after landing?
