Anime Expo 2008 YouTube version

I finally decided to stop being lazy and made a slideshow of the pix I took at Anime Expo 2008 at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, California. It was alot of fun and tons of really good cosplays. Mine this year was The Laughing Man as well as an avi for gaiaonline using a paperbag head. Looking forward to next year.

I had to shorten this video by taking off a few pictures and shaving off alil bit of the songs used for throughout the video. Even though the full version is almost 13 minutes and this one is close to 10, it's still worth the watch and can be seen on myspace under jj_arquieta_jr. As for the pics, they can be found on cosplay dot com under sycotik as well. This was made with Windows Movie Maker.

I live in a po'dunk Southeast Missouri town so closest anything even remotely like this would prolly have to be in St. Loui or Memphis.....hmmmm I might have to do some investigating. Always wanted to go to an anime convention since I was like 11, but never got to, even when there was a few in my city >:L

What's it like? Is it like BOOM a lot of people?

Do people "glomp" you a lot? That's annoying

I personally hope to get "glomped" alot, love the attention. ^o^() But yeah, it's like BOOM alot of people in there, alot of cosplaying and it's just fun in my opinion. It CAN be enjoyable if you don't have alot of money and just wanna go for specific stuff but I highly recommend the 4day pass, staying with a group at the hotels available specifically for AX and extra cash for food and stuff ya wanna buy. It's just an awesome experience to be at AX.

LOL, nice and yea I'll definately will be there even though I haven't bout my ticket yet, I'll be there for sure. This is traditional for me now and I hope to either go as Near or Melo from Death Note.
