This was taken at the St. Louis Zoo in April 2006. The caretaker just got done explaining that the Grey back was born in the zoo and is the oldest gorilla there. He said that the younger ones watch him to see where he going so that they can get out of the way. I was filming a younger one, and his interesting behavior when the grey back came out of hiding...then...well you'll see!
