  • is there a way to get parts from another map on it... like lets say i want a forest peice in my tower or something. is there a way to put them both on the same map.

  • Yep, you'd have to combine the tilesets in a image editing program and then upload it to your project. It's not too hard. You could do it in paint if you had to. I think I'll do a tutorial on this soon. It's a frequently asked question. :)

  • whats the thumping in the background? oh btw, you kinda over did it with the textures... and you patternized the depressed and raised areas, along with the trees. if you had used this in game, i would recommend taking the plants from under the bridge away if there was a path and a tent there, the plant would probably be walked on enough to have been ripped or torn from the ground.... just some suggestions and criticism

  • The thumping in the background was the screen recorder I was using at the time. Also, suggestions are always welcome. Thanks for your input but I continue to stand by my mapping skills. ;)

I'd also like to point out once again that this is a tutorial for NEW mappers who want to learn how to use all of the tiles. This isn't meant to be the only way to map a grassland, simply a tutorial on how the individual tiles should be used. Thanks again!

  • Are you a girl? It says on your channel that you're a gentleman but you sound like a woman o.O

  • Noooo Arshes was traaaped, i personally use the grass shadow as different shades of grass and put it all over the map to make it not look all the same.

  • @willowsidhe when I was making a pokemon game with this, pressing f9 would bring a menu where you could select an option called visual editor and you could merge maps into one or overlap them. can you do something like that in this? if so, how?

  • KISIERA PREGUNTARTE ALGO SE PUEDE CREAR PAISAJES Y PERSONAJES PARA PODER INTRODUCIRLO AL PROGRAMA

  • lol gralssland.

  • you could have used Re-edited autotiles (for example Round Water, just google Ccoa Round Water) and some Lightning (Or in this one Shadow) effects, together with clouds or Fog.

BUT for a Tutorial, to show how the Tile itself should be used, this is a good video.

  • I am looking for an experienced mapper for my game who will be able to provide stellar maps. if you are interested, message me!
