@speedbuggy So he was just a cover character. I sometimes wondered if The Million $ man character was a warm up for Vinces own personoa.
-
@stufaman Jack Tunney was the onscreen "WWF president", much like Sting is in charge on Impact wrestling right now. A figurehead. And of course, Vince was behind/in charge of WWF back then.
-
Furthermore..Jack Tunney takes no shit from anyone!
-
bill eadie(axe) took time off for health reason. so crush and smash was the 2 demolition members left.
-
So who was Jack Tunney?
Vince was behind WWF even back here wasn't he?
-
For Real, Ax left the WWF because of Health issues.
-
RIP Jack Tunney who is sadly no longer with us - he was actually Canadian, not American.
-
Nobody from WWF attended, according to Wikipedia.
-
Is it true that there was one-one from wwe at tunneys funeral?
-
Demolition were the best when it had Ax and Smash. They they started to suck when Crush was added. No disrespect towards Brian Adams(RIP) but that's how I felt 21 years ago.
@Derby14 Tunney may not have been very exciting as far as talking goes for an "authority figure", but unlike many authority figures, he never seemed to hog the spotlight. He'd only do his stuff "from his office" when necessary.

Jack Tunney was probably the best long-term authority figure they had. He was impartial and acted like you would expect a President to act, without being a character.
