The first female governor of Michigan, Ms. Granholm recalls her administration's challenges in the eight largest state in the nation, as she faced an economic recession coupled with a depleted manufacturing sector and multiple infrastructure issues. Jennifer Granholm speaks with her co-author and husband, Dan Mulhern, at the Mechanics' Institute in San Francisco.

It's way too oo late now. Michigan factory workers have been over paid and under-worked for far too long. The UAW hasn't contributed anything to production since the 60's. The problem is the whole UAW work 2 hours, get paid for eight attitude. Why didn't the UAW picket the white house to have higher tariffs placed on these foreign model cars? Too Late now.
