Bush just wants to get the hell out of the kitchen because he can't stand the heat. He is trying to shift responsibility of the mess up front so he can somehow take blame off his hands. New way of thinking about 'pay it forward' - it is supposed to be spreading goodwill ahead, not badwill.

The MOST telling thing is when Bush called the company Citicorp. UNFORTUNATELY they gave BILLIONS to Citigroup. Hey fuktard, if you're going to pretend to care atleast get the name right. Somebody slip Bush $20 bucks to get it right just once. The "atta boy" he gives Paulson at the end is no different from "You're doing a heck of a job, Brown" during Katrina.
