Possibly the sweetest sounding girl group ever, this is one of my favorite records. I also love the original by the Poni-Tails. Did not chart, but released as a single in 1968. Remake of the 1958 hit by the Poni-Tails. The Shannons released two singles and I have posted all four sides.

  • I'm one of the Shannons and just discovered your postings of our recordings. What spectacular memories they bring! It was heaven to sing in harmony with my best friends. Thanks for the memories...

  • @marycowley Thanks so much for your comments! It's amazing to hear from a member of one of my favorite girl groups, one that is especially hard to find information about. Thank you!

  • Produced by Mel Taylor....the guy with the Ventures?

  • @garymichaelshannon Yes, the same guy. The Shannons had a Ventures connection.
