the dollar will fall, but not in a disorderly way as russian ruble did in 1998... it will be a slow process since china, eu, australia etc, will not let this happen, they will prop the dollar if that means destroying their own potential.. i see the eur/usd at 1.78 by 2012, but no more than this..

tHE DOLLAR WAS about 1,47 to the euro a week ago. Just yesterday it went from 1,4917 to 1.49.77 IN ONE FUCKING DAY.

I agree there is no best currency now, only gold and silver. I can't understand why an "expert" such as Jim Rogers is into Japanese Yen and I think Swiss franc?? There is so much conflicting info out on the net these days I am really confused. I still hold my long term view on gold and silver though no matter what any says of it. There are plenty of people who downplay it even now.
