Is it okay to be bald/have a shaven head in Japan? As im kind of balding so it looks better if i shave it. Another video on haircuts suggested that its a bad idea as it has yakuza connotations or something. Thanks!

They often give you shoulder and head massage too. And, a shave includes your forehead and eyebrows (at least mine and I'm not so hairy. They trim nasal hair and ear hair while they are at it. Again, maybe just me...8-)

An our or two to get a hair cut !!!!. The most I have spent getting a hair cut is 15 maybe 20 minutes and that's with a wash,cut and dry. Why does it take so long to get a hair cut in Japan ?

Wow, they have manga in barber shops! All we have at mine is newspapers xD, im wondering one thing though, i have curly hair that isnt really long, but isnt short either, and its rather messy and bits fall out alot, would that bother them in japan at all?

I realize these videos are old, but I was wondering if it's appropriate filming videos in any public place because I noticed sometimes I heard they don't like to be filmed and put on the internet. There's this rumor that Japanese women shouldn't show their faces (apart from eyes) on the Internet, if they don't want to be ridiculed by Japanese men on the internet.

Can you tell me if this is true or not?
