NBA Best Bet Tuesday NY Knicks at LA Lakers (-15) (10:30PM ET) (NBA PPV)

The new look NY Knicks enters Staples Center for a game against the LA Lakers. The Lakers defense has not been able to keep opponents from covering huge point spreads as LA is 0-4 against the spread heading into Fridays action. LA is not holding teams under 42% shooting like it did earlier in the season and we see teams like Sacramento hitting on 49% and a short handed Phoenix club shooting 50%. The team has won 18 of their first 21 games and seems to be coasting to victories. Many and maybe including many of the Lakers are penciling them into the NBA Finals against the Celtics but we are 6 long months away from the start of the Finals. Lamar Odom is not taking to his new role off the bench leading the second unit and it has resulted in teams making up ground against them in games. The Knicks have covered 6 of their past 7 games through Thursday and play hard for new coach Mike DAntoni. This is an improved squad and most of it is their competitive attitude on the court. So with the Lakers in coast mode there is no way to lay 15 in this game. Take NY Knicks +15.
