The Republican Party of Texas is setting the record straight on our state's biennial budget process. This ad was created to remind voters that Republicans are showing the same leadership that got them elected last November as our elected leaders make tough, careful decisions to guide our state through this budgeting process.
Democratic Legislators in the Texas House of Representatives are buying radio advertising to promote scare tactics and misinformation about our state's education system and the biennial budget process. While Democratic legislators are spreading scare tactics and buying radio ads, Republican legislators are doing what we sent them there to do.

A few thoughts:
1. Texas Republicans need a new advertising firm. This is pretty bad.
2. Seen any good movies lately (The Cartel, Waiting for Superman, etc.)? Other countries and states are implementing school choice. We need to be more than the party of spending cuts. Pushing for school choice for low-income and minorities in D.C. was wonderful. Now it's time to consider Texas.

MY MIND IS OPENED AND I HAVE TWO DEGREES. HOW ABOUT YOU? JUST LIKE ANY OTHER INDUSTRY THERE ARE ALWAYS FEW BAD APPLES BUT THERS ARE FAR MORE LAZY PARENTS THAN THERE ARE BAD TEACHERS

And i can think of a few more that need to be fired right here where my son attends too.
The teachers unions are already more concerned with keeping their jobs than they are with teaching and our children's welfare!
Open your minds and get educated.

Many of those protesting are school board members from all over Texas. Please vote in the upcoming elections in May for new conservatives to replace liberal school board members. We don't need to cut teachers, we need to cut administrators and their costly perks and expense accounts.

Not really any answer to low education performance and high cost of education. Still better than Dem's proposals.

You're right, a minority of Texans voted in a bunch of knuckle dragging, ill-educated Luddites, who want the same poor education they got for our kids.
