This is my 2009 Can-Am Spyder SE5 with the first part being the stock headlights and fog lights, and the second part showing the difference after installing HID lights.

  • I had the same issue because my hands are too big. You have to lift up the cougar head in order to do it. This involves removing the trunk, then disconnecting the main headlight harness which is in the center of the bracket. Remove 2 bolts from the bracket to free the front up. Then remove 2 bolts at the rear section, be careful to not lose the nuts as they are in a channel. Then slide the head forward and up, then go at it from underneath. You need to reuse the brackets holding the bulbs.

  • im trying to replace my stock lights on my spyder with a hid kit but cant get the top panel of the bike off. i removed the shield, speedometer i can see the bulbs but cant get in there good enough to put the hids in. can you tell me how you got to them
